About Velocity Heating and Cooling

Hi my name Alex and I started Velocity Mechanical in June of 2023. I started this company for many reasons but the biggest one for me was I could no longer work for HVAC companies that prioritized everything but the customer. It happens to many business as they grow, they only see money and spreadsheets. The employees and customer all feel like a number. I was sick of working for managers that got to their positions through flattery and failing upwards. I think most people would be shocked to peak behind the curtains on large HVAC company and realize they are held together only by a few competent individuals. 

Many technicians are treated poorly by management and pushed to their limits with to many calls each day a little to no training. The pay is often barley enough to offer a simple lifestyle. I want to change that, I want to build a company that is based on treating its customers and employees like the gift they are.  What makes anything in life great and beautiful is the people we are with. 

I remember when I was just learning HVAC over 10 years ago and we got the heat running on a especially cold day, the homeowner was so grateful to have heat again. It was a simple thing to do but brought so much joy to them. That feeling of helping someone with my skills has stuck with me through my whole career and now I want to bring it to as many people as possible. I want to see my customers happy in their home whether is the coldest day of the year or the hottest. I want my employees to fell that satisfaction of building a growing skill set that will ensure they can provide for themselves and their families.

I know that there are many companies out there that provide these services I offer and many of them have been around far longer than I have.
